A Istanbul, il faut être très vigilant si l'on veut conserver une note au restaurant. Le serveur la remporte systématiquement et ne rapporte que le ticket de la carte de crédit. Lorsqu'on réclame une addition, il repart, l'air embarassé et revient avec un minuscule ticket, entièrement rédigé en turc avec simplement indiqué le nombre de repas et le montant total.
