Bonjour vincent,
Well I don’t mistrust you or whatever you might think, and of course I’ve got a lot of different, also older friends. I prefer older people at this moment, because discussions and topics are so different, I’m happy to have this opportunity.
The only reason is just that the human being is always wanting something and mostly it is not just interest, if you understand, what I mean with this.
It’s just a little bit strange to write to someone, without even having a picture of him, but kind of funny as well...
Your friend environment sounds quite interesting, I have no clue who you are, and this makes it kind of unreal, - that’s it.
Sorry about the Boulez – Bourdieu problem, I’m just having a big philosophy test tomorrow, and it’s because of that I think I mentioned the false one.
Do you like philosophy?
I kind of guess it has a lot to do with music sometimes, generally with arts in every way of aesthetics or metaphysics...
To answer your question about Boulez, I really like his music, and it was very exciting to hear his comments before the concert, to get an idea of what hes thoughts were, while composing.
So I wish you all the best,
leander

Guten Tag Leander!
(Hab ich gesagt daß ich hab deutsch gelernt wenn ich jung war? Aber ich hab alles vergessen!!)
As you can see, I can't resist answering you quickly.
How can I make you more comfortable about our relation? I proposed we communicate through facebook where you can see some pictures there... Or if you prefer I send you a picture? just tell me.
About philosophy, I have to accept I dont know a lot about it. I have given up reading philosophy books for a long time now. The problem is not time. I never say "I have no time for this". For me it is never a question of time, always a question of priority. I hope one day, I will put philosophy in a better level of priority because I really enjoyed it when I was studying. I had a crazy high appreciation in Philosophy at the baccalaureat with a text by Spinoza :)
Do you know Nietzsche was also a composer and Mahler use one of his Poems in the Third Symphony.
i am impressed by what you said about Boulez and may be it is a domain where I will learn from you and I like this idea! You did not answer me regarding Dudamel's concert. Do you think I could have a chance to have a ticket with your help? Sometimes it is good to dream!
I hope to read you soon.
Avec toute mon amitié,
Vincent
