Hej Vincent,
How long are you going to stay in Paris?
I Live in Lucerne, it's quite a beautiful city as well, i really like it. Got something like a mix from a village, and it's still a town, with a lot of cultural programmes.
To be honest with you, I think there must be any other reason, why you started to contact me, and I’m quite a little bit cautious because of that.
But also I’m always interested in meeting people from abroad, because I love travelling and seeing other cultures as well as languages.
So for me it’s okey like that at the moment and of course it’s kind of strange, but we’ll see how it develops.

Yes, I am in Paris and probably for ten days which is good... My next trip should be in Athens on September 15th and is not yet confirmed... We'll see...
So let's come to your question and the reason I have contacted you. I think I already answered, but you re right, it is better to be clear. You are incredibly elegant and beautiful and I really felt an irresistible need of finding a way to contact you. This being said, I know we are not at all in the same age range and it would be absolutely stupid on my side to imagine something different than friendship could happen between us. I also believe that friendship has nothing to do with age. My best friend is 85 years old; he is the most famous Mahler biographer in the world. I really like him, I learnt a lot from him and I also have close friends who are my age or much longer. I think my parents tried to educate me with good manners and what I know from your messages has totally convinced me that it is the same on your side. So I don’t believe our relationship could one day be without all the respect you could expect from a true friend. If you want to discuss this more, don’t hesitate to ask questions. I never lied to you and I will never do...
About Pierre Boulez, may be you re going to be surprised but I know him, I have driven him in my car two times and I had a dinner with him after a concert in Bozen. I know him because he is a close friend from my friend (the biographer). I have to recognize that his music is a little bit difficult to my ear and it is probably necessary to have a very high level in music to be able to understand it. But I had a look on yesterday’s programme and I saw there was Messagesquisse which is one of the Boulez pieces I really love. It seems that yesterday, there were two versions of it, the one for 7 cellos I know and a new one for 7 violas, that I did not know. Did you like this piece?
I also know Pierre Boulez's sister; she is 88 and incredibly young. She travels all over the world to attend her brother's concert and she is my model in term of becoming older in a marvellous way.
I would love to come back to Luzern for another concert and my favourite would be the Wiener Philharmoniker Concert in two weeks with Dudamel. Of course it is fully booked. Would I have a chance to buy a ticket with your help and your connexion with the KKL?

drôle de coincidence... il m'est arrivé il y a 2 jours la même histoire dans le sens inverse: un inconnu qui a laissé sur mon pupitre après un concert un petit mot avec son email...

Même si à l'heure qu'il est, l'histoire a eu le temps d'évoluer pour le meilleur ou pour le pire, ma première pensée - te connaissant un peu - a été: Tiens tiens, il a cru entr'apercevoir son Tadzio...
